Our program's goal is for kids to play lacrosse! We strive to make playing time as balanced as possible to ensure player development and team improvement. Each year we form new teams as evenly balanced as possible within the division they will compete in, recognizing that it's fair - and more fun - when teams of equal ability play.

BCYL Registration: Please do not wait to register! Roster spots are limited and will be honored on a first come basis! Payment is required for your player’s registration to be completed. Should there be any previous outstanding balance on your account, it also must be paid in full before registration in current season can be completed. Once an age group's team roster is full, subsequent registrants go on a wait-list until there are enough to form a second team, and so on from there.

What do registration fees pay for? BCYL is a non-profit. Fees are calculated using the hard costs we incur to run teams. Your fees help pay for team registration/league fees, field rentals, coaches pay, equipment and administrative costs (web site, insurance, banking fees.) Other than the stipends paid to our professional coaches, all other Board Members and Parent Coaches are volunteers.

BCYL Refund Policy: Considerable planning and financial commitment goes into each season. Coaches must be hired, fields rented, uniforms ordered and teams registered to compete in a league. To keep costs as low as possible, we make many arrangements in advance and must ask participants to share in this commitment.

All refund requests must be submitted in writing by sending an email to: mmpad7@gmail.com. A $25 processing fee will be deducted from the fees of each player refunded. Refunds are processed after registration for season has closed and are mailed in the form of a check. Uniform cost is not refundable.

Refunds of fees will be granted as follows:
• Before first practice: 100% refund less $25 processing fee
• Before first game: 50% refund less $25 processing fee
• After first game of the season has begun: no refund*

*Request for refunds due to injury/illness are granted on a case-by-case basis. If after the first game, any refund issued will be in the form of a BCYL credit toward future season fees.

Beach Cities Youth Lacrosse will be competing in the Orange County Lacrosse Association's SPRING league again this year for an exciting season of field lacrosse! New players are welcome! Age groups do fill up ... please register early to ensure a spot and help us plan best for Spring teams!

Practices:
Two weekly practices beginning in March on Mondays and Wednesdays at Oak Middle School in Los Alamitos.

Games:
Weekends from the end of March through May at various game locations in Orange County.
League games will also be played on some Sundays including the possibility of an occasional Saturday and Sunday game in the same weekend.

Fees:

EARLY BIRD SPECIAL 2/1-2/15   $345

Regular Registration 2/16-3/6   $395

LATE FEE 3/7-3/14   $445

Equipment:
Required equipment: stick, goggles, mouth piece, cleats and (optional) gloves.

Uniforms:
Any players that don't have a BCYL jersey need to purchase a jersey for $35 and provide their own navy blue shorts or lacrosse skirt. Make your size selection during registration process.

Wait-list:

Equipment:
Required equipment: regulation lacrosse stick, gloves, helmet (NOCSAE certified), shoulder pads, arm pads, mouth piece, protective cup and cleats. Rib pads and an underlayer are recommended but optional.

Uniforms:
If your player needs a uniform, make that selection during registration. The boys uniform package includes a pinnie-style reversible jersey, shooter shirt, shorts and socks for total of $125 including sales tax. Make your size selection in the registration process.

Waitlist:
